During a special meeting on Aug. 20, 2012 the Ohio Department of Education (ODE) voted to approve a delay in the release of all local school district report cards throughout the State of Ohio. This is because of Ohio Auditor of State Dave Yost’s investigation of attendance data at the State level. The delay is expected to continue at least September.

To help school districts, ODE established a link that accesses an update and FAQ document created for the Local Report Card delay. It also contains information about a question/comment portal related to the report card that is available on the ODE website. ODE is actively working to answer questions and provide report card updates as they become known. The portal will be monitored and the FAQ updated regularly.
